IPL 2024: DC blow away GT with excellent bowling

DC bowlers dominated GT batters in an one-sided win

DC – Delhi Capitals, stunned Gujarat Titans – GT at their home ground Ahmedabad. GT in these three seasons have made Ahemadabad ground almost their fortress. They have been winning most of their matches at the ground but DC just stunned them with meticulous bowling right from the first ball. In IPL 2024, this is the first match to have under 90 runs target.

Going into the details, DC won the toss and elected to field first. Wriddhiman Saha(2) and Shubman Gill(8) struggled against line and length, perfect seam and swing bowling. Ace pacer Ishant Sharma sent back Gill and Miller, early. Sai Sudharshan(12) got runout and this led to a huge collapse. Except for Rashid Khan(31) everyone failed and hence, GT got all-out for 89 runs.
