The Duleep Trophy 2024 is kicking off in Anantapur, and the tournament is already showcasing some standout performances. Among the highlights is Mushir Khan, who represents India B and has made an impressive debut in this year’s competition. Although his elder brother, Sarfaraz Khan, also playing for India B, faced a difficult start, Mushir’s performance has been a beacon of hope.
Sarfaraz struggled in his first match, scoring just 9 runs off 35 balls. Despite his own challenges, he expressed great pride in his younger brother’s success. Mushir Khan, on the other hand, delivered an exceptional performance by scoring the first century of the tournament. His innings of 100 runs, achieved off 205 balls, was decorated with 10 fours and 2 sixes, showcasing his batting prowess and composure. This century is Mushir’s third in first-class cricket and marks a significant milestone in his debut Duleep Trophy campaign.
