Australia has decimated West Indies in the final match of the ODI series. The Caribbean team has been unable to give competition to Australian team with majorly inexperienced and youngsters. Xavier Bartlett has been able to once again make a huge impact in the match with his bowling spell. He took 4 wickets and did not let WI batters to put up any partnership.

The ball swung and pace of Canberra wicket also made it tough for WI batters to combat against these Aussie pacers. Alick Athanaze tried to score runs by soaking in all the pressure. But he scored only 32 runs from 60 balls. Apart from him, Roston Chase is the only batter who stayed in the crease for 26 balls to score 12 runs. Keacy Carty scored 10 runs and he is the only person to put up double digits for WI.

Xavier Bartlett(4/21), Lance Morris(2/13), Adam Zampa(2/14) and Sean Abbott(1/14) took wickets for Australia. West Indies managed to score only 86 runs from 24.1 overs. In the chase, Jake Fraser-McGurk took after WI bowlers in T20I style. He played shots all around the ground and scored 41 runs from just 18 balls.

Apart from him, Josh Inglis scored 35 runs from 16 balls and helped Australia win by 8 wickets in just 6.5 overs. Australia has scored 87/2 and won the ODI series by 3-0. This is the shortest ODI match ever to be played on Aussie soil. Xavier Bartlett ended up winning Player of the Match and with 8 wickets in series, won Player of the Series, as well.
