ISRO successfully injects Aditya-L1 solar observatory in space

Aditya -L1 Mission has become another success story for ISRO

ISRO has added another great milestone in its space exploration journey. They have decided to inject solar observatory, Aditya-L1, at Lagrange point – L1 to observe Sun even more closely. ISRO launched this mission few months post Chandrayaan-3 success. The observatory will work to find more secrets about the core of Sun, that we do not know yet.

Also, the observatory will look closely at solar flares and examine the outer corona. By understanding deeply about Sun, scientists look to predict better about the solar flares that are emitted towards Earth. The observatory inserted in Halo-Orbit around Sun-Earth L1. From this Lagrange point, Observatory can be more accurate with its observations and precise about CMEs.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his happiness for the mission success on social media platform, X(Formerly Twitter). He congratulated ISRO scientists for such a landmark achievement. He wrote,”India creates yet another landmark. India’s first solar observatory Aditya-L1 reaches it’s destination.

“It is a testament to the relentless dedication of our scientists in realising among the most complex and intricate space missions. I join the nation in applauding this extraordinary feat. We will continue to pursue new frontiers of science for the benefit of humanity.”

Many political leaders along with Home Minister Amit Shah have congratulated ISRO for this success. Now, ISRO will be monitoring the observatory and decode the information it would be sending over next few months. Well, ISRO will now concentrate on Mangalyaan 2 and Chandrayaan 4 which has plans to land a human on moon from India. Let’s congratulate ISRO and wish them all the success for future missions.
