Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Organization has clarified that there are different weather conditions in the state and the same conditions are likely to continue tomorrow and Day after tomorrow as well. They said there is a possibility of intense sun in some places and untimely rains with thunder in other places. According to the details of the Meteorological Department, on Sunday and Monday there is a possibility of light rains with scattered thunder and lightning in Manyam, Alluri, Polavaram and Eluru districts. Farmers and herdsmen should not stand under trees during thunder and lightning. Today the maximum was recorded at 45°C in Ontimita of Kadapa district. Temperatures above 40°C were recorded in 244 mandals. Kurnool 44.3°C in Gudur, Nandyala Allagadda, Anantapur 44.1°C in Terannapalli, Tirupati Varadiyapalem 43.5°C, Markapuram Komarolu 43°C, Kakinada Karapa, Srisatyasai Kotacheru 42.9°C, Prakasam Kopperapadu 42.5°C, Palnadu Gurjala 42.3°C, Annamayya Nuliveedu recorded 41.9°C. 7 mandals in Vizianagaram district will be affected by severe hailstorm. In Parvathipuram Manyam district, 14 mandals including Vizianagaram 7, Manyam 1, Alluri 2, Polavaram 7, Kakinada 3, East Godavari 4 and Eluru Velerupadu mandals will be affected by hail.
