PM Narendra Modi participated in the Ayodhya Ram Mandir inauguration event. He gave aarati and took blessings of the idol at Pran Pratishtha. After he conducted his rituals according to Aagama Shastra, he addressed public about the construction of the temple. He remarked that Lord Ram has finally arrived back at his home.
He congratulated all Indians for this momentous occasion. He wished that this temple construction will result in the dawn of a new era. He apologised to Lord Ram and stated that it took several centuries but finally, they have managed to bring him back to his home. He opined that Ram will not be angry with Indians.
Later, he stated that any country can only grow by recognising their rich heritage and celebrating their culture. He described Ram as “the only truth” and he is not the problem but the solution of many. He later went on to state that all the religious disturbances regarding Ram Mandir have concluded on 22nd January 2024.
PM Narendra Modi stated that Ram Mandir is legal and thanked Supreme Court judges for historical verdict in 2019. He stated that building Ram Mandir should be the start of a rich heritage of India for upcoming 1000 years. He wished for the celebration of Indian traditions and beliefs, globally, in coming years.
