Actor Nagarjuna has received praise for his calm and generous response to the recent demolition of the N Convention Centre in Hyderabad, from Telangana CM Revanth Reddy. The venue, which he owned, was brought down by the Telangana government after it was found to be built illegally on a river embankment.
The decision to demolish the structure was one of the first major actions taken by new Chief Minister Revanth Reddy after taking office. The move aimed to resolve a long-standing dispute over land use in the area.
Many assumed that Nagarjuna would take legal action or express anger at the demolition. However, the actor took a different approach. Not only did he remain silent on the matter, but he also went on to donate two acres of disputed land near the site to the government for city development.
Speaking about the response from Nagarjuna, CM Revanth Reddy said, “Instead of reacting negatively, Nagarjuna showed great character. His decision to donate more land for the public good shows the kind of person he is. He has acted like a true hero off-screen.”
The gesture has earned Nagarjuna widespread appreciation. He has since been seen attending events with the Chief Minister, including the Miss Universe pageant and his son Akhil’s wedding.
Nagarjuna’s dignified handling of the situation and his contribution to urban development have made a strong impression, turning a moment of potential conflict into one of cooperation and goodwill.
