AP CM YS Jagan has been favoring the upliftment of AP people from the time he became Chief Minister. He announced many welfare schemes and worked for upliftment of women and children. He has announced that AP will be paying the best honorarium to Anganwadi workers and will be giving them all possible means to overcome obstacles and grow as independent people.
He has been working hard to fulfil his promises to voters, mainly women. After vicious pressure from opposition and some triggered protests, YSRCP Party MP Vijaya Sai Reddy asked a qurery in Parliament to understand AP’s position in paying honorarium to Anganwadi workers.
In response to a question raised by YSRCP MP VijayaSai Reddy, Union Ministry of Women and Child Welfare released data that confirmed that Andhra Pradesh is among the top 5 states in the country paying the highest honorariums to Anganwadi workers.
Telangana, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Karnataka are the top 5 states providing the highest pay checks to the Anganwadi workers.
The data released by the Union ministry revealed that the Andhra Pradesh government grants an additional honorarium of Rs 7,000 to Anganwadi workers and Rs 4,750 to helpers each month.
