Badrinath Dham Reopens Today With New Affidavit Rules For Visitors

Badrinath Dham Reopens: Devotees can now enter Badrinath Dham because the temple reopened its doors for the annual Char Dham Yatra. The pilgrimage this year has established major new rules which include stricter entry requirements along with rules to protect the temple’s sacredness.

Badrinath Dham Reopens Today With New Affidavit

The introduction of mandatory affidavit requirements stands as the most important transformation which now exists in this current year.

Non-Hindu visitors will be allowed darshan only after submitting an affidavit. The affidavit must declare faith in Sanatan Dharma. The move is intended to maintain religious traditions and sanctity. The Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee introduced this rule to execute its comprehensive reform strategy.

Entry Restrictions Tightened

The authorities established an affidavit rule while simultaneously implementing entry restrictions for temple grounds.

A proposal to limit access to Hindus across multiple temples has been approved. The rule applies not just to Badrinath but also to several temples under the committee’s control.

The religious customs protection measures have generated public debate although their implementation remains justified.

Strict Mobile Phone Ban

Devotees visiting the shrine will also face a strict ban on mobile phones inside temple premises.

The authorities established deposit facilities outside the temple because phones create crowding problems which delay darshan. The rule aims to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted pilgrimage experience. Char Dham Yatra 2026 Begins.
