Viswambhara back on track with new VFX

Vishwambhara

Vishwambhara is gearing up for release amid high expectations and delays. Telugu cinema fans have been eagerly waiting for Vishwambhara, the upcoming socio-fantasy film starring Megastar Chiranjeevi and directed by Bimbisara fame Vassishta. While the project has faced delays, the buzz around the film remains strong, especially after a recent update from a distributor who previewed some footage and called it “next level.”

The film began with high hopes, combining Chiranjeevi’s return to the fantasy genre and Vassishta’s strong directorial vision. However, the initial teaser released last year received criticism, particularly for its weak VFX quality. Taking the feedback seriously, the makers decided to hand over VFX responsibilities to a new company and rework much of the post-production. This is one of the reasons why the film has been delayed beyond its original release schedule.

As of now, the film’s main shooting has been completed except for one special song. Reports suggest that Bollywood actress Mouni Roy has been roped in for this number, which is expected to be a visual treat.

Produced by UV Creations on a grand scale, Viswambhara also stars Trisha as the female lead. The music is being composed by the legendary M.M. Keeravani. The film’s blend of mythology, fantasy, and emotion is expected to appeal to a wide audience, provided the promotional material is released strategically.

Though interest dipped after the teaser backlash and production delays, industry insiders believe that a strong promotional campaign with new posters, teasers, and trailers could bring back the hype. With the content reportedly shaping up well, fans are now hopeful for a strong comeback.

If all goes well, Vishwambhara could mark a refreshing turn in Chiranjeevi’s career and deliver a grand cinematic experience.
