Fifteen years later, while on a work assignment in Moscow, Gandhi unexpectedly discovers that his son, Jeevan (also played by Vijay), is alive. A team of rowdies successfully rescues Jeevan and brings him back to India, reuniting the Gandhi family after years of heartbreak. However, just as their lives seem to be getting back on track, turmoil ensues. Nazir (portrayed by Jayaram), the leader of Gandhi’s squad, is murdered, triggering a chain of events where other team members are also killed.

As the story unfolds, viewers are left questioning the identity of the murderer and the motives behind the killings. The film explores the complex relationships between life and death, culminating in Gandhi’s confrontation with the shocking truths surrounding his father’s murder.
