Actor Vijay Deverakonda has revealed the real reason he launched his popular Rowdy brand clothing line, surprising fans who believed it was just another celebrity business venture. The star explained that the brand was not started for profit, but to support newcomers in the film industry who face the same struggles he once did.
Speaking at the success meet of Little Hearts in Hyderabad, Vijay opened up about his difficult early days in cinema. The event celebrated the unexpected blockbuster starring Mouli and Shivani Nagaram, with guests including Allu Aravind and Bandla Ganesh. During his speech, Vijay shared how financial problems shaped his journey.
“My first film was Pelli Choopulu. At that time, I had no money and not even proper clothes to wear for the shoot. Those early days in the industry were extremely tough. I started Rowdy brand so that newcomers wouldn’t go through the same struggles I faced. Through this brand, I provide T-shirts to fresh talents in the industry,” he said.
His heartfelt words moved many, showing a different side to the actor. While most assumed Rowdy brand was created to earn money like other celebrity businesses, Vijay’s real purpose was to give back. Fans expressed their admiration online, praising him for turning his personal hardships into an initiative that helps others.
The success meet also highlighted the journey of Mouli, who is stepping forward in Tollywood after his strong performance in Little Hearts. Senior figures at the event encouraged him and shared guidance for his career ahead.
Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda continues to stay busy with films. He is currently working with Rashmika Mandanna for the third time, in a big-budget project produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Fans are already excited, saying that if the film becomes a success, it will mark a hat-trick hit for the popular on-screen pair.
By sharing the story behind Rowdy brand, Vijay Deverakonda not only surprised the audience but also inspired many with his compassion for new talent. His message was clear – no newcomer should suffer the same struggles he once endured.
