Tollywood star Pooja Hegde received a heart-warming surprise at the airport ahead of her birthday. The actress, who is currently busy with multiple projects, arrived in Hyderabad from Mumbai when fans and photographers stunned her with a cake celebration.
Pooja, known to many as “Butta Bomma” after her popular role in the film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, turns 36 on 13 October. But the celebrations started early. While stepping out of the airport in an all-black outfit — a crop top, coat, mini skirt and shrug — a photographer approached her with a small surprise box. “Madam, please stop… there’s a small surprise for you,” he said, handing her the gift.
Inside was a cake, and fans quickly gathered around to celebrate. Smiling brightly, Pooja thanked everyone and even shared the cake with those present. Photos and videos from the moment have gone viral on social media, with fans praising her sweet reaction. “My birthday is still two days away, but this surprise is something I’ll never forget,” she said.
Pooja first entered the Telugu film industry with Oka Laila Kosam, and gained massive popularity through back-to-back hits with top stars. She has also worked in Hindi and Tamil films, becoming a pan-Indian name. Recently, she gained further attention for her performance in the viral Monika song from Coolie, starring Rajinikanth.
Currently, she is working on Jananayagan alongside Vijay, as well as Kanchana 4 and DQ41. All these films are in active production, keeping her schedule packed.
Celebrities often face endless cameras and fan requests in public, but this time, the moment turned into something beautiful. A simple gesture by fans made the actress’s day memorable — even before her actual birthday.
