The Telugu box office is gearing up for a major clash this weekend as three youthful entertainers — K Ramp, Dude and Telusu Kada — are set to release on 17 October. With fresh faces, youthful stories and energetic promotions, the competition between these films is expected to be fierce.
Kiran Abbavaram’s K Ramp has already generated strong buzz among audiences. Directed by Jinesh Nani, the film stars Yukti Thareja as the female lead. Kiran, known for his vibrant performances, seems confident about making a solid comeback after mixed results with his previous projects.
Joining the race is Tamil actor Pradeep Ranganathan with Dude. Directed by Keerthiswaran, the film pairs him with Mamitha Baiju. After back-to-back hits like Love Today and Dragon, Pradeep is aiming for a hat-trick. Interestingly, although Dude is a Tamil film, it is getting a wide Telugu release thanks to a big production house backing it.
The third contender is Telusu Kada, starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Srinidhi Shetty and Raashii Khanna. Directed by Neeraja Kona and produced by People Media Factory, the film promises a fresh take on a love story. The music by Thaman S has already built excitement among fans.
For Siddhu, this release comes at a crucial time after the underperformance of Jack. The Telusu Kada team is hopeful that the film’s romantic appeal and strong promotions will work in its favour.
With three different kinds of youthful content hitting theatres on the same day, moviegoers will have plenty of options. It remains to be seen which of these Telugu films will emerge as the audience favourite and lead the Diwali weekend box office.
