Raashii Khanna has shared her candid thoughts on adapting to opportunities in the film industry during recent promotions in Hyderabad. The actress, who will soon be seen in the upcoming film Telusu Kada, spoke about choosing scripts wisely and making the most of every chance.
Speaking to the media, Raashii Khanna said, “This film is based on a new and refreshing concept. It’s a love triangle, but the story is unique and will surprise everyone. When director Neeraja narrated the story, I was amazed. This is my second film with People Media Factory. I believe the film will give audiences a memorable experience.”
She further added, “In this industry, things don’t always go as planned. Whatever stories come to me, I choose the one that feels right. I love mythological and horror stories, but I can’t stick to just one type of role. We don’t always control what language or genre we’ll work in. Opportunities come unexpectedly, and we need to make the most of them if we want to last long in the industry.”
Her comments have caught the attention of netizens, with many saying Raashii seems to have realised how the industry works.
Raashii also spoke about working on Ustaad Bhagat Singh. “When Harish Shankar called me for the film, I said yes immediately, even before hearing the story. Acting alongside Pawan Kalyan is an honour. I’m also working on four projects in Hindi,” she shared.
Directed by Neeraja Kona, Telusu Kada stars Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Srinidhi Shetty alongside Raashii. The film is set for a grand release on 17 October, coinciding with the Diwali festival. With just a few days to go, the team is actively promoting the film across platforms.
Raashii concluded by saying that in the film world, one must be flexible: “Some people say they won’t do certain roles, but if you want to stay in this industry, you need to mould yourself according to the character. That’s how you grow.”
