Thalapathy Vijay has been one of those few stars who has been able to deliver one film per year, consistently. He has decided to join politics and put a pull stop or comma for few years to his acting career. He announced that he is going to do only one more movie post his current the Greatest of All Time with Venkat Prabhu. The team has recently confirmed release date of the movie to be 5th September.
Venkat Prabhu has been able to deliver a huge blockbuster that earned cult following to Ajith Kumar with Mankatha. People have been waiting to see another such crazy film from him with Thalapathy Vijay in the leading role, this time. He showcased his talent in handling a complex time loop movie with Maanaadu and people have major expectations from his Greatest of All Time, as it has Vijay in two characters, that too, in two different age groups.
The makers have decided to release first single on Tamil Puthandu, New Year day, that is, 14th April. They have unveiled a promo for the song composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja for the film. Interestingly, like in Leo and Beast, these makers have also decided to first release a song crooned by Vijay. They did not reveal any of the lyrics sung by him, in the promo.
The makers have tagged it as U1’s party song. Yuvan Shankar Raja is known for his party songs and we have to wait and listen to know what he did with this one. Meenakshi Chaudhary, Mohan, Prasanth, Sneha, Laila, Jayaram, Prabhu Deva are playing other important roles in the movie. AGS Entertainment is producing the film and movie shoot is expected to be over by the end of April.
