Shah Rukh Khan has made a huge comeback in 2023 after Zero failure in 2018. His film, Pathaan, became a huge 1000 crores grosser worldwide. The movie has become first Hindi language cinema to gross 1000 crores worldwide in original language.
Dangal has grossed Rs.700 crores worldwide in Hindi and rest of 1300 crores in China. It still remains highest grosser for Indian Cinema with Rs.2000 crores gross over Baahubali 2, which grossed over Rs.1800 crores.
Later, Shah Rukh Khan has delivered another 1000 crores grosser with Jawan in September, 2023. The movie collected over Rs.1150 crores gross and Pathaan has collected Rs.1050 crores gross. Now, he released Dunki for Christmas weekend. The movie has marked his first collaboration with director Rajkumar Hirani. Also, movie released with Prabhas Salaar in clash for the season, worldwide.
Dunki has faced huge competition for screens all-over with Salaar. While, the movie did not receive overwhelming positive reviews as anticipated, it did good business worldwide. The movie has crossed US$20 Million gross Overseas and crossed Rs.200 crores Nett gross in India. Overall the movie has collected Rs.400.04 crores gross worldwide. Production team has announced this officially.

Tapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal have acted in the movie, too. Rajkumar Hirani for the first time has made a love story with Donkey flight route as the backdrop. As it is placed in Punjab, the title has been named as Dunki, the way local rural people term it. Pritam has composed the music for the film.
