Controversial director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is known for making only three films so far—Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh, and Animal—but all of them became huge hits. With these blockbusters, he built a strong fan following across India.

Now, Sandeep Vanga is preparing for his next big project titled Spirit, starring pan-India star Prabhas. He plans to show the actor in a never-before-seen avatar. The script is already complete, and filming is expected to begin in September.

In a recent podcast with the Kingdom movie team, Sandeep shared his thoughts on film censorship and certificates. He revealed that he watched around 45 minutes to one hour of Kingdom and guessed it would get a U/A certificate. Lead actor Vijay Deverakonda thought the second half had more violence and predicted an A certificate instead.

Sandeep, however, said that people no longer care much about violence in films and felt a U/A rating was more likely. He praised Kingdom for its strong emotional core and brotherhood theme. As expected, the makers later announced the film had received a U/A certificate, confirming Sandeep’s prediction.

During the conversation, Sandeep also mentioned that all his own films had received A certificates. He claimed that due to these ratings, some distributors reported losses at the box office, although all the films were commercial successes.

Now, all eyes are on Spirit—will it follow the same trend, or will it receive a different certification? Fans and industry insiders are eagerly waiting to see what happens next with this highly anticipated film.
