Saif Ali Khan, one of the famous stars of Indian Cinema, had to be rushed to a hospital amidst the shooting schedule of Devara. The actor has decided to accept supporting lead and antagonist roles in recent times. After Adipurush, this movie is going to be his big budget multi-language Pan-India film as an antagonist.
He has joined the sets, one year ago and he has been shooting for the film, ever since. He aggravated the old injury while shooting for Devara’s action sequence. Hence, he had to be taken to the hospital. After the necessary scans, the doctors have scheduled a surgery for his elbow and tricep.
In a statement regarding the surgery, Saif said, “This injury and the surgery that followed is a part of the wear and tear of what we do. I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands and thank all well-wishers for their love and concern.” The surgery has been successful and doctors are monitoring the progress, regularly.
Once he recovers, he can resume work and complete patch work for his portions. Devara stars Jr. NTR, Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. Saif Ali Khan is playing the lead antagonist role. Devara Part-1 is scheduled for release on 5th April, 2024. Koratala Siva is directing the film while Anirudh Ravichander is composing music. Saif Ali Khan’s injury would not force them to postpone release state the team.
