He said on this occasion.. ‘I am lucky to do my first film as a producer with Ram Charan. From the ‘Peddi’ title cards to the ending, the audience cannot move from their seats. All the elements that the audience wants are fully packed in Peddi. During the shooting of Rangasthalam, I asked Charan to make a film for me. In fact, two or three times I missed the films I was supposed to do, and finally I produced the film Peddi under the direction of Buchibabu with Ram Charan as the hero. He made the film just on his word. No agreements were made. This happened because I thought it happened, not because Ram Charan thought it happened,’ he said.
It is said that during the shooting of Peddi, hero Ram Charan suffered not one but three injuries. In fact, even with those three major injuries, he said that dates should not be a problem and he used to come to the shoot even the day after the injury.
