A bomb threat to homes of two top Tamil actors, Rajinikanth and Dhanush, created panic situation in the South film industry. An unknown email caused fear in Chennai. The e-mail was sent to the Tamil Nadu DGP office on Saturday. It claimed that bombs were placed at Rajinikanth’s house in Poes Garden and Dhanush’s house in Alwarpet, and that they would explode soon.
police received this information, they acted very quickly. Police teams rushed to both houses without any delay.
Bomb disposal squads and dog squads searched entire houses, gardens, and surrounding areas carefully for nearly one and a half hours. After checking so detail.. no explosives were found in the gardens.
Officials later confirmed that it was a fake email. Police thought someone sent it just to create panic.
This is not the first time such fake threats have been made to Rajinikanth’s house. The cyber crime team is now investigating where the email came from and who sent it. Strict action will be takes against fraud messages and all those mails said police if it repeats again.
Fans of both actors were worried after hearing the news, but they felt relieved after it was confirmed to be fake. Meanwhile, both actors are currently busy with their film shootings.
