Icon Star Allu Arjun’s much-awaited film Pushpa 2: The Rule is all set for a massive theatrical release on December 5, 2024. To build excitement, special premieres have been planned across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on December 4 at 9:30 PM. In preparation for the release, the Telangana government has issued a GO permitting higher ticket prices in the Nizam region. Similarly, the Andhra Pradesh government has also approved a hike in ticket prices, though the rates in Andhra Pradesh are slightly lower compared to Telangana.

For the December 4 premieres, ticket prices have been set at ₹944 per ticket for benefit shows. On the release day, December 5, single-screen tickets will cost ₹297.50, while multiplex tickets will be priced at ₹377. Authorities have granted permission for six shows on the first day. From the second day, December 6, until December 17, theaters can screen five shows daily. The increased ticket prices will remain effective until December 17.
The film’s distributors are gearing up for an extensive release, ensuring Pushpa 2 screens in every theater across both Telugu states. While distributors are prioritizing single screens for as many premieres as possible, they are considering limited shows in multiplexes to maintain a balance.
Online bookings for the premieres are set to open today, and fans are eagerly awaiting the chance to witness Allu Arjun’s return as Pushpa Raj on the big screen. The hype for Pushpa 2 is at an all-time high, and industry experts are predicting record-breaking collections for the sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise.
