Dulquer Salmaan and Meenakshi Chaudhary’s recent release, Lucky Baskhar, a period crime drama directed by Venky Atluri, has captivated audiences both in theaters and on digital platforms. After receiving widespread acclaim during its theatrical run, the film premiered on Netflix and quickly climbed to the top spot, securing a massive following.
Acknowledging the love and support, Dulquer expressed his gratitude to fans. “Lucky Baskhar has been well-received in all the languages it released in. Now, that same love is being shown on Netflix. The movie was released in five languages, and I personally dubbed for Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find time to dub for Kannada and Hindi. For my future films, I’ll try to dub in all five languages myself. Ever since the film premiered on Netflix, I’ve been receiving countless messages. A heartfelt thank you to everyone,” Dulquer said in a recent statement.

Notably, the film overtook Jr. NTR’s Devara, which had been holding the top spot. Following Lucky Baskhar’s success, Devara moved to the third position on Netflix’s trending charts.
Dulquer is currently working on two highly anticipated projects: Kaantha and Aakasamlo Oka Thara. Adding to his busy schedule, reports suggest that he has given the green light to a new film with debut director Ravi. Pooja Hegde is reportedly being considered for the lead role opposite Dulquer in this project.
With Lucky Baskhar making waves globally, Dulquer continues to prove his versatility and appeal as a pan-Indian star, solidifying his place in the hearts of audiences worldwide.
