NTR: ‘I’ll Act in Tamil If Vetrimaaran Directs’

At a recent press conference in Chennai, the team behind the upcoming film “Devara” discussed its release and the impact it aims to have on the Indian film industry. NTR, who stars in the lead role, expressed his excitement about the project, stating, “We speak different languages, but this film brings us all together. Post-Baahubali, the days of dividing the film industry into Tollywood and Kollywood are gone.”

“Devara” is set to hit theaters on the 27th of this month and will be available in multiple languages, emphasizing its pan-India appeal. NTR described the film as one of the best he has made in his career, highlighting the crucial role played by the technical team in realizing the director’s vision. He also praised his co-star, noting, “She is a wonderful actress.”

When asked about his plans to act in Tamil films, NTR shared his enthusiasm for working with director Vetrimaaran. “When my favorite director makes a film with me, I will act directly in Tamil,” he revealed.

Director Koratala Siva also spoke highly of the project, stating, “The actors and the members of the technical team have made this film very special. It’s a film that the audience will love.”

Music director Anirudh Ravichander added to the conversation by sharing his personal connection with NTR. “NTR is a close friend of mine. Soon after the release of the film, his fans started trending my music on Twitter. That’s how my journey started,” he explained.

The event also saw the presence of several notable figures, including Janhvi Kapoor, Sabu Cyril, Ramajogayya Sastry, Rathnavelu, N.V. Prasad, and Kalai, all of whom contributed to the promotional activities surrounding “Devara.” The team is optimistic about the film’s reception and is eager for audiences to experience the story they have crafted together.
