Mythri Movie Makers have been looking to expand their presence in other languages as well. They have established themselves as a big production house in Telugu. Now, they are looking to enter Tamil and Hindi languages. While their association with Thalapathy Vijay, who has announced his political entry and stated his 69th as his last film, has been in discussion, they have surprised with Ajith63.
Ajith Kumar and Thalapathy Vijay are regarded as current Tamil cinema stars with similar market and fans. While VIjay increased his market in other languages, Ajith, who had a sizeable presence in Telugu, lost that due to some routine flicks. Still, his market in Tamil has grown with blockbusters like Viswasam and Thunivu showcased that he has great hold even in competition with Vijay.
So, Mythri Movie Makers seem to have decided to work with both of them at the same time. Ajith Kumar has given his word to director Adhik Ravinchandran for his next and the young director after Mark Antony, is looking to deliver another big hit with Ajith. Already, Adhik performed in Nerkonda Parvaai, Pink remake, as an actor with his favorite star actor.
During that film shooting Ajith liked him and asked him to bring a script for him. Now, the film is titled as Good Bad Ugly. The 1966 western classic of legendary Clint Eastwood might be taken as reference by the director to put this title. It would be interesting to see if Ajith will again try a negative shade character like in Mankatha for this one.
The director is excited to work with Ajith and has already told in many interviews that he adores Ajith, so much. Well, his style of over-the-top comedy and quirky characters would offer something new from Ajith, too. Devi Sri Prasad will compose music for the film and makers have already booked Pongal 2025 release date.
