Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has created a huge name for himself in Indian Cinema. He has a huge fanbase, as his movies have become huge blockbusters. His Vikram has helped him create Lokesh Cinematic Universe, LCU and Leo starring Vijay has become a blockbuster, just because of the hype surrounding his universe.
He has been appearing in cameos in his films and Shruthi Haasan has decided to make him act in her single, Inimel. He tried to stay away and decline it but as he loves and respects Kamal Haasan, he opted to work in the song. Shruthi Haasan wanted to create a single about modern day relationships and Kamal Haasan helped her in writing lyrics.
After he wrote the lyrics, Shruthi Haasan composed and sang the song. As her love interest, director Lokesh Kanagaraj debuted as actor. He did a good job in the song and the main couple chemistry is talking point of Inimel. They showcased a lived-in kind of chemistry that we rarely see among on-screen couples.
Lokesh stated that he did have a fascination towards acting but he is too shy to pursue it. At the launch, he stated that he is busy with Rajinikanth’s Thalaivar171 film and he will talk about the film once he finalises everything. Shruthi Haasan looked very excited about the single and it is good to watch and listen, too.
