Actress Keerthy Suresh, known for balancing commercial hits and women-centric films, seems to have taken a slower pace in her career after marriage. At the peak of her career, she tied the knot with her childhood friend Antony. Though she confirmed earlier that marriage would not stop her from acting, Keerthy has been cautious in signing new projects since then.
Currently, only films she had committed to before marriage are releasing, and apart from a project with director Mysskin, no new announcements have been made. This led to speculation among fans and industry circles about whether her career speed has reduced or if she is not getting many offers post-marriage.
Addressing these doubts in a recent interview, Keerthy Suresh clarified her plans. She stated that she still has a long journey ahead in the film industry and does not want to rush into projects. She explained that she is carefully planning her career by choosing a mix of glamour roles and performance-based characters.
Speaking about her Bollywood debut Baby John, Keerthy called it a new chapter in her career. She said she took the step into Hindi cinema to explore challenging characters and fresh stories. She also shared that the working style and culture in Bollywood were very new to her, but she is enjoying learning different aspects of cinema through this experience.
Keerthy highlighted that her career choices are not about speed but about balance and growth. She wishes to continue surprising audiences with diverse roles while also ensuring that each project adds value to her journey. Fans can therefore expect a thoughtful selection of films from the actress in the coming years rather than back-to-back releases.
