The much-awaited Bollywood action thriller War 2, starring Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan, has officially completed filming. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Yash Raj Films, the film is set to hit theatres on August 14.
Jr NTR, who plays a key role in this pan-India action film, took to social media to share the news and express his excitement, praised Hrithik Roshan for his infectious energy on set and shared how much he learnt during the filming process of War 2.
“War 2 shoot is complete! Hrithik sir brought amazing energy to the set every day. I was truly inspired by him. I’ve learnt so much during this journey,” wrote NTR. He also praised director Ayan Mukerji for preparing something very special for audiences, promising that the film will deliver a “unique experience.”
He added, “Thank you to the amazing team at Yash Raj Films. I’m really looking forward to the release on 14 August.”
War 2 is the sequel to the 2019 hit War and is part of the growing YRF Spy Universe, which includes films like Pathaan and Tiger 3. The film is expected to be high on action and drama, with both Hrithik and Jr NTR in powerful roles.
