Top Telugu actor Jr NTR has teamed up with KGF director Prashanth Neel for a high-budget action film titled Dragon. The movie is currently being shot at a fast pace and is expected to be one of the biggest releases in Indian cinema.
According to reports, Dragon will be a mass entertainer with next-level action and elevation scenes. As director Neel is known for making his heroes look larger than life, fans of Jr NTR can expect some unforgettable moments on screen. Industry insiders say that audiences might even watch the movie multiple times just to enjoy Jr NTR’s powerful presence.
Dragon is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers without any compromises on quality. Both the lead actor and director are reportedly getting record-breaking pay for this project. Jr NTR is said to be taking not only a high fee but also a share of the profits, around 25%, as part of his deal. If not profits, he will receive a share from a specific region’s collections.
Prashanth Neel, now a pan-India director, is also charging a huge amount. Sources say he has fixed part of his fee and asked for up to 50% profit share in certain areas. The exact regions have not yet been revealed.
The female lead in Dragon is Kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth. This film is likely to be a turning point in her career, pushing her into the star league. The makers are aiming for a release in summer or the second half of 2026.
It remains to be seen whether Dragon will be made in two parts like KGF and Salaar, or if it will be completed in a single film. Either way, with NTR and Neel joining hands, fans can expect a blockbuster on a grand scale.
