Bollywood actor, director, producer and writer Farhan Akhtar has once again shown his kind heart. Recently, he helped families affected by heavy floods in India. Farhan donated mobile phones to the victims, showing his generosity.

Heavy rains in recent days have caused floods in several states. In Uttarakhand, many people were swept away, and several families lost their homes and belongings. To support those affected, Farhan Akhtar decided to step in.

He donated 50 mobile phones to residents of the Harsil and Dharali districts. The phones, each worth around ₹7,000, will help families communicate and stay in touch with loved ones. Many victims had lost their phones during the floods, making it difficult to reach out to others.

Divyanshu Upadhyay from the BDRF Foundation requested Farhan’s help. He responded quickly and arranged the donation. With the foundation’s support, the phones were distributed to the flood-affected families.

The recipients expressed their happiness and relief. Many said that, although they lost their belongings, the phones allow them to check on the safety and well-being of their relatives. They described Farhan’s gesture as a comforting support during these difficult times. BDRF teams confirmed that the phones have already helped people reconnect with their family members.

In recent weeks, many flood-affected families have been living in temporary shelters in Dharamsala. Farhan’s contribution has provided them with a small but important means of communication and reassurance.

On the professional front, Farhan Akhtar is currently directing the movie Don 3. He also produced the film Bahadur 120, which is set to release in November. Despite his busy schedule, he continues to use his influence and resources to support those in need.

Farhan Akhtar’s recent efforts reflect his multi-talented nature and his commitment to helping society, showing that his concern extends beyond the film industry.
