Marvel Studios is bringing the iconic superhero team Fantastic Four back to the big screen in a brand new film titled Fantastic Four: First Steps. The film is set to hit Indian cinemas on 25 July 2025 in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
This reboot takes audiences back to the 1960s in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), exploring the origins of the Fantastic Four and how their extraordinary abilities developed.
Pedro Pascal leads the cast as Reed Richards, also known as Mr Fantastic. In this version, Reed is not only stretchable like rubber but can also manipulate space around him, making his powers even more remarkable. With his genius intellect, he remains one of the brightest minds in the MCU.
Vanessa Kirby plays Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman. More than just a supporting role, Sue is shown as a powerful leader capable of generating energy shields strong enough to block missiles and dimensional attacks, along with her invisibility powers.
Joseph Quinn takes on the role of Johnny Storm, the Human Torch. His control over fire is now advanced enough to redirect explosions and fly at sonic speeds. He’s also capable of withstanding and emitting extreme cosmic heat.
Ebon Moss-Bachrach portrays Ben Grimm, also known as The Thing. He’s the emotional core of the group — tough as stone on the outside, but deeply human within. His physical strength and resilience make him a front-line fighter.
The film also hints at the arrival of Franklin Richards, the son of Reed and Sue, known in the comics for his reality-bending powers. While not confirmed as a central character yet, his presence teases future storyline possibilities.
Fantastic Four: First Steps promises to be an exciting new chapter in Marvel’s cinematic universe.
