Devara movie starring Jr. NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan has been said to be delayed second half of 2024. The most anticipated and awaited movie of Jr. NTR has been in production from past one year. NTR took one year time post RRR release to start shooting for this film. Koratala Siva took time post Acharya debacle to complete the script and go for shooting.
The movie has been further divided into two parts and the first part has been scheduled for 5th April, 2024. Now, the sources are saying that the movie VFX work has been delayed and team has decided to give them more time. Also, still 20 days shoot is still to be completed and hence, the team has decided to take time to complete the entire production without any compromise.
On the same date, Akshay Kumar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan are said to be releasing as Eid releases. Hence, Devara team might not find as many theatres as they want to in Hindi belt. So, rather than going for clash, they seem to have decided to go for another date. Also, elections could happen in April, which could effect collections.
On the other hand, before April Jr. NTR will complete his part in Devara and join War 2 film with Hrithik Roshan. Post War 2, he could join Devara Part 2 shoot or he might work with Trivikram Srinivas. If Allu Arjun takes more time for Pushpa 2 and there are talks about him doing Atlee film before him joining hands again with Trivikram.
As Prashanth Neel might take more time to complete Salaar 2 and start his film with Jr. NTR, Trivikram Srinivas might be directing his next on Pan-India scale. Let’s wait for official confirmation.
