Indian cinema is all set for a massive box office clash this December, as two of the country’s biggest stars, Prabhas and Ranveer Singh, are releasing their films on the same day.
Pan-India star Prabhas, known for his record-breaking hits post-Baahubali, is currently busy with multiple film projects. One of them is the much-awaited horror-comedy film The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi. The film’s shooting is now in its final stages, and the makers have officially announced that it will release worldwide on 5 December 2025. The teaser was launched last month, creating a strong buzz among fans.
However, Prabhas now faces unexpected competition with Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is also releasing his film, Dhurandhar, on the same date. The makers of Dhurandhar unveiled its teaser today, coinciding with Ranveer Singh’s birthday, confirming the release date.
Dhurandhar is said to be inspired by the life of National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and is directed by Aditya Dhar. The film features an ensemble cast, including Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and R. Madhavan, playing crucial roles.
Initially, fans of Prabhas were delighted as The Raja Saab appeared to have a solo release. But with Dhurandhar entering the race, the stakes have suddenly risen. Both actors have huge fanbases across India, and this clash is expected to have a significant impact on opening-day collections.
The film industry and fans alike are now eagerly waiting to see who will come out on top in what could be one of the biggest box office battles in recent times.
