After a successful theatrical release during Diwali, Bagheera, directed by Dr. Suri and starring Sriimurali and Rukmini Vasanth, is now set to make its debut on Netflix. The film, which hit theaters on October 31, will be available for streaming from December 21. The OTT platform confirmed the release with an official announcement on social media, revealing that the film will be available in multiple languages including Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam.
Bagheera is a high-octane action drama that follows the journey of Vedanth, played by Sriimurali. Since his childhood, Vedanth has been fascinated by superheroes, and he dreams of becoming one himself. However, his mother teaches him that real heroes are not just those with superpowers, but also the selfless individuals who protect others, like his father, a dedicated police officer. Motivated by this, Vedanth follows in his father’s footsteps and joins the police force, eventually becoming the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in Mangalore.

As ACP, Vedanth begins to crack down on criminal gangs, but his aggressive methods attract the attention of senior officials, who impose restrictions on his actions. His world is further shaken when he discovers that his father had bribed Rs. 50 lakh to secure his police job, leading Vedanth to lose his moral compass. Disillusioned, Vedanth starts to ignore the crimes happening around him, but a shocking incident outside his police station changes everything.
Determined to make a difference, Vedanth adopts a new identity as Bagheera, a vigilante superhero who operates at night, fighting crime and seeking justice. As Bagheera, he goes up against powerful criminals, including Rana (Garuda Ram), while navigating his personal life and his relationship with Sneha (Rukmini Vasanth).
The film, written by Prashanth Neel of KGF and Salaar fame, features a compelling mix of action, drama, and emotion, making it an exciting watch for fans. Bagheera promises to deliver a gripping story and powerful performances when it premieres on Netflix on December 21.
