Ayalaan is the tamil movie starring Sivakarthikeyan and an Alien as the primary leads. Movie has been in development and production hell for past 5 years. Finally, the movie is gearing up for a worldwide release for this Pongal. Movie team has worked over years, despite monetary issues to bring the film out.
R Ravikumar, post his debut with Indru Netru Naalai, worked hard to bring this new sci-fi concept to Tamil Cinema for long. Post Koi Mil Gaya, this movie can be categorised as big Indian sci-fi Alien movie as well. To realise such a big dream in a limited budget, Sivakarthikeyan acted without remuneration in the film. Actor Siddharth has given voice to the Alien character, as well.
AR Rahman scored music for the film. Trailer has rich visuals and the team has been able to save it from becoming stale. It looks original and also, the concept seems slightly generic yet different from other sci-fi films. R Ravikumar has proven himself with his debut film and this one seems to be something different and special, too.
Well, movie tries to depict how a normal person would react if an Alien enters into his life in Indian households. That aspects seem to be adding flavour to the film. Sharad Khelkar, Isha Koppikar are playing other important roles along with Yogi Babu. Movie is releasing on 12th January, worldwide in Tamil and Telugu languages.
