Telugu filmmaker Anil Ravipudi is almost done with the shooting of his much-awaited film, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, featuring megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead role. According to reports from the film’s production team, nearly 90% of the filming has been completed, with only two songs and a few action sequences left to shoot.
The film is said to be a family entertainer with elements of comedy and emotion, a style Anil Ravipudi is best known for. Actress Nayanthara stars opposite Chiranjeevi, marking an exciting pairing for fans. The movie also features veteran actor Venkatesh in an important role, which has already created a strong buzz among audiences.
Ravipudi, known for films like F2 and Sarileru Neekevvaru, has been working at a steady pace to wrap up production. Most of the major talkie portions have been filmed, and the team is now focusing on completing the remaining portions before moving into post-production.
The makers reportedly aim to release the film during the Sankranti festival season, one of the most lucrative periods for Telugu cinema. A Sankranti release would also mean a direct clash with several other big titles, a trend that has become common during the festive window. However, given Chiranjeevi’s star power and Ravipudi’s proven track record with mass entertainers, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is expected to hold its own.
Music for the film is being composed by Thaman S, who has previously collaborated successfully with both Chiranjeevi and Ravipudi. The soundtrack is said to include a mix of upbeat dance numbers and soulful melodies that fit the festive mood.
With shooting nearly done, the team will soon begin the promotional campaign. Fans are eagerly waiting for the teaser, which is expected to drop in the coming weeks. If all goes as planned, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu could easily be one of the biggest releases of early 2026.
