Their collaboration has a unique charm, and now, they are set to replicate the magic in the highly anticipated Pushpa 2. After the massive success of the item song from Pushpa: The Rise, featuring Allu Arjun and Samantha, the team is preparing another electrifying number for the sequel.
This time, the buzz is that Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has been approached for this special song. Shraddha, who is well-known to Telugu audiences from her role in Saaho, has also made waves in Bollywood with her recent hit Stree 2. According to reports, the makers of Pushpa 2 are in talks with her for this energetic item number, although no official confirmation has been made by the film’s team.

As the release date of Pushpa 2 approaches, the team is working to complete the songs quickly, with a particular focus on this item song, which could significantly boost the film’s pre-release buzz. Despite that, the first part shook the Bollywood box office, thanks to Allu Arjun’s stellar performance.
Given that Pushpa 2 will release in multiple Indian languages, Allu Arjun and the team are planning at least a month of dedicated promotions, especially focusing on the North Indian market. A pre-release event in Mumbai is being planned, and with Allu Arjun’s solid fan base in Kerala, the team aims to make full use of every promotional platform.
Industry sources estimate that Pushpa 2 has already done massive pre-release business, crossing the ₹1,000 crore mark when combining theatrical rights, OTT deals, music rights, and satellite rights across various regions, including Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film, set to hit the screens on December 6, stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, Fahadh Faasil as the antagonist, and features Sunil, Anasuya, and Dhananjay in key roles. Rumors suggest that Pushpa 2 will have even more surprises than its predecessor, keeping fans excited for its release.
