Producer Dil Raju has officially confirmed that a new film titled Ravanam is in the works which will bring together two big names in Indian cinema, Allu Arjun and director Prashanth Neel. The film will be produced under Dil Raju’s banner, Sri Venkateswara Creations.
The announcement came during promotions for Raju’s upcoming release Thammudu, starring Nithiin. While promoting the film, Dil Raju has been in the spotlight for several viral statements, especially regarding his earlier film Game Changer and his response to comments made by fellow producer Shirish about Ram Charan.
However, the biggest news is the confirmation of Ravanam. Fans have long speculated about a collaboration between Allu Arjun and Prashanth Neel, known for their blockbuster successes in films like Pushpa and KGF. Now, the project is officially on the cards.
Dil Raju revealed that Ravanam will begin production only after both Allu Arjun and Prashanth Neel complete their current films. Allu Arjun is currently working on Pushpa 2: The Rule, while Prashanth Neel is directing a high-profile film with Jr NTR. As a result, fans may have to wait some time before Ravanam goes on the floor.
This announcement also confirms that Allu Arjun’s previously planned film Icon, with director Venu Sriram, has been shelved. The script for that project will now be reworked for a different actor.
With a powerful team and high expectations, Ravanam is set to become one of the most talked-about films once it officially begins. Though the wait might be long, the combination of Allu Arjun’s star power and Prashanth Neel’s action-packed direction promises something exciting for fans.
Currently, Allu Arjun is working with Atlee for a pan-India film
