PM Narendra Modi is visiting UAE and Saudi Arabia in his current trip. He inaugurated a Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha has constructed BAPS Hindu Mandir, the Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi, capital of UAE. Along with PM Modi. Akshay Kumar and Shankar Mahadevan have also participated in the event.

BAPS have constructed the mandir at a height of 108 feet and 262 feet in length, 180 feet in width. It has been constructed in 27 acres site is located at Abu Mureikhah off the Dubai–Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed Highway. In the mandir, BAPS have instilled the deities of Swaminarayan, Radha – Krishna, Aksar – Purushottam, Rama – Sita, Lakshamana, Hanuman, Shiva – Parvati, Ganesha, Karthikeya, Padmavati – Venkateswara, Jagannath and Ayyappan.

They started the construction in 2019 and completed the construction over 5 years. It is stated that they have spent Rs.700 crores for this construction. At the temple, they have instilled foutains using the water brought from river ganges and river yamuna, in containers. Many sculptors from Gujarat and Rajasthan have participated in the construction of the temple. The temple has seven Gopuras representing seven Emirates of UAE.

PM Narendra Modi has also participated in the World Government Summit 2024 in Dubai and talked about the importance of Smart Governance. He stated that the technological advancements in Governance will only help reaching more people while Artificial Intelligence has its own demons. He signed 8 MOS with UAE in this Summit.
