Stock Markets have started new financial year with huge gains on 01st April 2024. Investors got huge boast with good fortunes in International Stock Markets. In every sector, FDI investments have been huge too. Indices have touched lifetime highs during the session. Hence, BSE gained 363.20 points to close at 74,014.55 and Nifty gained 131.50 points to close at 22,462.00 mark.
BSE Sensex started trading at 73,968 and then continued to trade between 73,909.39 – 74,254.62. Index started above the previous closing and then kept trading above 74,000 mark. At the highest, it touched all-time high above 74,250 mark. Towards the end, index investors sold-off with gains and BSE ended the trading session at 74,014.55 by gaining 363.20 points.
Nifty Sensex started trading at 22,163.60 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 22,516.00. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 22,163.60. Index started off on a positive note. Investors kept trading above 22,400 mark and hit over 22,500 mark at the highest. Finally, Nifty50 ended by gaining 131.50 points on 22,462.00.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.83.40 against US Dollar on 01st April, 2024. JSW Steel, Tata Steel, UltraTech Cement, NTPC, L & T shares ended as Top Gainers. Titan, Nestle India, Bharti Airtel, Indusind Bank, Tech Mahindra shares have ended up as Top Losers. Stock Markets have started the new financial year with huge gains and let’s hope it will continue in similar fashion.
