Stock Markets have faced losses on 05th March 2024. Traders did not show enthusiasm in investing in stocks. They have been circumspect waiting for US Federal Reserve announcement about inflation, job data. International Stock Markets have also ended flat. Hence, BSE lost 195.16 points to close at 73,677.13 and Nifty lost 49.30 points to close at 22,356.30 mark.
BSE Sensex started trading at 73,767.42 and then continued to trade between 73,915.54 – 73,412.25. Index started on a decent note and immediately dipped with traders putting selling pressure on big stocks. Throughout the session, BSE ended the trading session at 73,677.13 by losing 195.16 points.
Nifty Sensex started trading at 22,371.25 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 22,416.90. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 22,269.15. Index started oscillating from the starting hour and never recovered from the losses throughout the session. Hence, Nifty50 ended by losing 49.30 points on 22,356.30.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.82.90 against US Dollar on 05th March, 2024. Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, Infy, Nestle India, TCS shares have ended up being Top Losers. Tata Motors, Bharati Airtel, SBI, Sun Pharma, NTPC shares have become Top Gainers. Stock Markets ended the trend of profits in this session.
