Stock Markets ended flat on 07th February, 2024. Traders started off the session with huge profits and traded in losses mid-session. Asian Stock Markets gave boom to local traders but soon traders looked to make profits in IT and Finance sectors after huge gains in previous session. Hence, BSE lost 34.09 points to close at 72,152.00 and Nifty gains 1.10 points to close at 21,930.50 mark.
BSE Sensex started trading above previous closing at 72,548.50 and then continued to trade between 72,559 – 71,938.22. Index had an enthusiastic start over 72,500 mark but then lost almost 600 points by mid-session. By the end, it did recover and BSE ended the trading session at 72,152.00 by losing 34.09 points.
Nifty Sensex started trading at 22,045.05 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 22,053.30. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 21,860.15. Index started off over 22,000 mark and it continued to trade in green till mid-session. It flunged to lows due to selling pressure and then ended by recovering, marginally. Hence, Nifty50 ended by gaining 1.10 points on 21,930.50.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.82.97 against US Dollar on 07th February, 2024. Bank of India, JSW Steel, Bajaj Finance, Nestle India, Axis Bank shares ended as gainers this session. Tech Mahindra, Powergrid Corporation, Infosys, TCS, HDFC Bank shares ended as losers. Experts stay Stock Markets might continue to trade in this fashion for few more days.
