Stock Markets Update: Indices again end flat

Stock Markets once again ended flat on 8th July

Stock Markets ended the session once again flat on 08th July. Investors started off the session with losses after global cues looked unimpressive. Starting off with such losses, slowly, indices started recovering but they did not receive huge help from major stocks as anticipated. Hence, ended on a flat note.

Going into the details, International Stock Markets did not end first week of July on a high note. Also, Asia-Pacific markets did not start on a positive note. Investors majorly focused on booking profits. ITC, Nestle India did help in recovering after a negative start. Hence, Big indices of Stock Markets, BSE lost 36.22 points to close at 79,960.38 and Nifty50 lost 3.30 points to close at 24,320.55 mark.

In this session of Stock Markets, BSE Sensex started trading below previous closing at 79,915.00 and then continued to trade between 80,067.46 – 79,731.83. On the other hand, Nifty Sensex started trading slightly below previous closing at 24,329.45 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 24,344.60. While Nifty50 hit the lowest at 24,240.55.

Indian Rupee traded at Rs.83.50 against USD on 08th July 2024. ITC, Hindustan Unilever, Wipro, Nestle India, HCL Technologies ended as Top Gainers in Sensex. Oil & Natural Gas Corporation, ITC, HDFC Life Insurance Company, Hindustan Unilever, Tata Consumer ended as Top Gainers in Nifty50.

On the other hand in top indices of Stock Markets; Titan Company, Tata Steel, Asian Paints, Mahindra & Mahindra, Ultratech Cement stocks ended as Top Losers in Sensex. While Divis Laboratories, Titan Company, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Shriram Finance, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone ended as Top Losers in Nifty50.
