The timeless classic Umrao Jaan (1981), directed by Muzaffar Ali and starring Rekha in one of her most celebrated roles, is all set to return to theatres on June 27. The film, which tells the story of a courtesan in 19th-century Lucknow, has become a cherished part of Indian cinema, admired for its poetry, music, and graceful storytelling.
