In the chase, Avesh Khan and Khaleel Ahmed took 3 wickets in the powerplay. Dion Myers started constructing his innings to give his team a chance. Washington Sundar took 2 wickets at the other end. Clive Madande(37) gave Myers good support. They both have put on 79-run in partnership for the 6th wicket.
Dion Myers showcased good late resurgence to help Zimbabwe cross 150. They scored 159/6 in their 20 overs. While they never looked like chasing the target, they did show good resurgence and India won by 23 runs. Washington Sundar took 3/15 and got Player of the Match award.
