India has been put under great pressure with inspired display of Afghan batters in the final T20I. Rohit Sharma batted thrice in the game, once in the regular game and then two Super Overs. He scored a century and even batter for India in both Super Overs. After he and Rinku Singh took India to 212/4 score in their innings, Afghans batted incredibly well to tie the match.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran scored 50 each and gave Afghanistan a huge start. They scored 93 runs for first wicket in 11 overs. Mohammad Nabi scored 34 runs from 16 balls and gave required momentum to Afghanistan. Gulbadin Naib scored 55 runs from 23 balls and his innings helped Afghan to tie the match. They scored 212/6 in 20 overs.
Washington Sundar(3/18) bowled well among Indian bowlers. Next Afghanistan scored 16/1 in the first super over. Rohit Sharma helped India score 15 and got retired out. India could not chase down in the final ball and ended the over, also in a tie. They scored 16 as well in the chase. They have been forced for second super over. India batted first and scored 11/2 in 5 balls.
Again, Rohit Sharma could only score. Ravi Bishnoi got the call up to bowl the second super over. Mohammad Nabi and Rahmanullah Gurbaz got out trying to clear the boundary for deep catches to Rinku Singh. Finally, India white-washed Afghanistan with 3-0 but finale will be remembered forver.
Rohit Sharma has been given Player of the Match award. Shivam Dube has been given Player of the Series of the award. Ravi Bishnoi has become the hero for being able to get two wickets in the second over and give India, a famous win.
