David Warner Arrested in Sydney for Drunk Driving

Australian cricket star David Warner has landed in trouble after being arrested in Sydney on charges of drunk driving. Warner, who is currently playing in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026, had returned home during a break in the tournament when the incident occurred.

Police in the Maroubra area were conducting routine checks when Warner was found to have consumed alcohol. Reports suggest he stopped his car before reaching a breathalyzer testing site, which raised suspicion. Officers conducted a test and confirmed alcohol consumption, leading to his arrest and transfer to the local police station.
Subsequent tests at the Maroubra police station revealed Warner’s blood alcohol level at 0.104, well above the legal limit. He was charged and later released with a notice to appear in court in May 2026, when the case will be formally heard.

Despite the controversy, Warner continues to captain the Karachi Kings in the PSL. His team has secured three consecutive victories and currently holds second place on the points table. Sources indicate Warner will return to Pakistan in time for the team’s next match against Peshawar Zalmi on April 9 in Karachi. He wants to won in PSL leagues also wants to won his first cup as a captain.
