Carlos Alcaraz, the young Spainard on the rise in Tennis sport, dominated Novak Djokovic in Wimbledon 2024 final. He retained his Championship title this year, proving to be on rise post his surprising victory of Wimbledon title previous year. In that match, Alcaraz won over Novak Djokovic in a stunning 5-setter. But this time, he absolutely dominated Novak.
Novak Djokovic looked mostly helpless against Carlos Alcaraz throughout the three sets. He found a chance to make a come back only in the third set when Alcaraz missed out on three Championship points. He recouped and won the match with 6-2 6-2 7-6 (7-4) scoreline in straight sets. Also, the new star has won French Open this year for the first time in his career as well.
On the other hand, Barbora Krejčíková won the Women’s Singles Title against Jasmine Paolini with 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 scoreline. She won French Open way back in 2021 and this is her second Grand Slam title, in her career. Well, the Czech professional player is looking to build on her career in coming years.
