BCCI announces complete TATA IPL 2024 schedule

IPL 2024 has started on 22nd March with huge expectations. Chennai Super Kings, CSK and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, RCB have flagged off the season in style. Many speculations have arisen about BCCI deciding to hold the first part of season in India and other half in some other country. But BCCI has decided to hold entire season in India, only.

Around the schedule of Parliamentary elections 2024, BCCI has decided to hold matches in big cities and nearby venues as well. Chennai will host Qualifier 2 and the grand finale on 24th May and on 26th May, respectively. Rajasthan Royals and KKR will play the final league match on 19th May at Guwahati.

TATA IPL 2024 full Schedule

BCCI has announced the two groups that 10 teams have been classified into. Group A – DC, LSG, KKR, MI,RR and Group B – CSK, GT, PBKS, RCB, SRH. Teams will play twice against the teams in same group and once with teams in other group.

Last year finale host Ahmedabad will host Qualifier 1 and Eliminator on 21st May and 22nd May, respectively. After 2011 and 2012, Chennai is hosting finals as they have won IPL 2023, in grand style. Now, fans of MS Dhoni would want CSK to reach finals and give MS, a big send-off as a player at home turf. Let’s see if that fairytale end is awaiting Dhoni & CSK or not.
