Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to X, formerly Twitter, to express his condolences to Taiwan Earthquakes victims. He stated that he is deeply effect to see the bereaved families and wished a speedy recovery to victims.

He wrote on X, formely Twitter, “Deeply saddened by the loss of lives due to earthquakes in Taiwan today. Our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured. We stand in solidarity with the resilient people of Taiwan as they endure the aftermath and recover from it.”

Earlier in the morning, Taiwan woke up to dangerous earthquakes in Hualien City. Magnitude of the earthquakes has been recorded on richter scale as 7.2 and 6.5, respectively. The devastating quakes have caused Tsunami in nearby eastern islands and alert has been issued to Japan as well. Entire world stunned to see such huge natural disaster striking the nation. This is the most devastating earthquake hit Taiwan in 25 years.

The officials have stated 9 people have died and more than 900 have been injured. A building stood at 45 degrees tilt and it has been a fearful yet amazing sight for everyone. As off now, rescue operations are continuing in the nation and Japan has already issued major Tsunami alert to their northern islands.
